International dating is exploding in popularity.
This can be traced back to a number of causes in the West: a growing obesity epidemic, ongoing attacks on masculinity and traditional gender roles, and a cultural decline that is purposely dividing men and women.
So yes, it appears there are limits to what Western men are willing to put up with. If your local dating scene isn’t cutting it, it might be time for a change.
Here are 10 reasons you should try international dating:
1. Foreign Girls Are Gorgeous
Let’s start with the low-hanging fruit. Many foreign women are absolutely stunning in the looks department.
If you haven’t been abroad recently, you might be under the impression that women across the world are all getting larger fatter, and putting less effort into their appearance.
Here’s a fact: every time I leave the U.S. and travel to Central or Eastern Europe, I feel like a kid in a candy store. The natural beauty and feminine energy is literally breathtaking. There are tons of beautiful women who are thin and healthy…everywhere. So the ratio of attractive to fat is completely inverted compared to many Western countries.
And quite frankly: it’s like a breath of fresh air. I have commented to my closest friend and traveling companion on numerous occasions that you don’t realize how far the standards have fallen in the United States and other Western countries until you travel abroad.
Now obviously not EVERY foreign girl is a gorgeous bomb-shell, and there are still many beautiful women in Western countries. But walk around any city in Eastern Europe, Asia, or Latin America and you’ll see that beauty is the norm.
2. Many Foreign Women Are Sweet and Pleasant
If you are from a Western country you have seen first-hand how sweetness and femininity has been replaced by ‘strong and independent’ and the ‘I don’t need a man’ mindset. Combative attitudes and constant sh*t-testing have, sadly, become the norm.
(To be fair: much of the blame can’t be placed solely on Western women. The root cause is weak men and the media which feeds them a non-stop feedback loop about how men oppress them and that their career should be their top priority. However this is a topic for another day.)
But the second you go abroad and start interacting with foreign women, you’ll quickly see that femininity is still alive and well in many parts of the world.
For many men this is similar to lighting striking, because they suddenly realize that something they thought was gone forever is still attainable. Just not in their home country (in any form of abundance).
The one caveat to this item is that you have to talk to the right foreign women.

3. Healthy Relations Between Men and Women
In many Western countries, there is ongoing effort to drive a wedge between men and women…and it seems to be working.
Fortunately this is not the case in many foreign countries.
Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia, and Latin America still have very healthy relations between men and women. (To learn why, see #4 below .)
This is evident because young people are still getting married and starting families in larger numbers compared to the West.
Another key factor is that unlike in Western countries, many countries actually want their population to start families. And their governments encourage polices that support a strong family-unit.
4. Traditional Gender Roles
Most traditionally minded foreign women expect their men to be strong, masculine, and to lead the relationship.
This is a good thing. But for many western men it will require them to unlearn some of the egalitarian messaging they have been taught brainwashed with. In truth, there are some things men are better at. And there are some things women are better it.
Fact: I have heard multiple foreign women say they would instantly lose respect for their man if they saw him washing the dishes or folding the laundry. Western women may love this, but many foreign women do not.
But this doesn’t mean she expects you to do nothing. Re-read the first sentence. You need to be capable of leading the relationship. And you need to have your finances in order and be able to support a family.
One key difference between Western women and foreign women relates to long-term views. A Western woman will date or sleep with a guy because she thinks he’s fun to be around. A foreign women will ask herself: “Can he provide for me and a future family?”
This does not mean she is a gold-digger. It means she is a planner who values her worth and is thinking about the future. She isn’t just living in the moment. The thought process of many foreign women shows a higher-level of maturity.

5. Interesting Conversation is Much More Common
If you’ve been on a date with a Western girl recently there is an 80%* chance it went something like this:
“I’m a really good dog mom…[insert pop-culture reference]…abortion rights and women’s issues are very important…[insert random red-flag]…my career is my TOP priority…[checks phone or Apple Watch for the tenth time]…this one time I got really drunk…[gets visibly anxious when you say something controversial]…that’s kind of offensive…”
You get the picture. So after a string of these dates you are forgiven for thinking that interesting conversation is a thing of the past.
But here’s the good news: when you date foreign women, interesting conversation becomes the norm again.
Allow me to explain. Many Western girls don’t have many interesting things to say because they don’t pay attention to anything that falls outside their bubble. Or they’ve been conditioned to only fixate on a narrow range of political issues.
Foreign women are much more informed and curious about the world.
They also spend more time conversing with their friends and family members, which means deep conversation isn’t just a novelty to them…it’s normal.
Conversation truly is an art and a skill that requires practice to develop and maintain.
Now obviously every foreign woman isn’t an amazing conversationalist. And language barriers are a topic for another article. But your odds of stimulating conversation are much higher abroad.
(*80% isn’t 100%, and yes there are many Western girls who don’t fall into this category. But when you’ve had enough consecutive dates that include a close variation of the above pattern, it becomes fair game to include this as common Western woman dating behavior.)
6. You’ll Eat Healthier
When you travel abroad you’ll likely notice that much of the food tastes better and more natural. That’s because it does and is.
Fact: there are many places in Europe and other parts of the world that don’t allow the import of U.S. meat and produce. Why? Because of all the steroids, chemicals, and processing that corrupt the U.S. food supply.
So in many cases, the food you eat abroad will be more healthy.
However, this benefit does come with one downside: if you’re an American you’ll realize how crappy most U.S. food (other than BBQ) is by comparison. And you’ll fully understand the damage processed food has done to a once-thin and healthy population.
My experience has been that I can actually eat more abroad without gaining weight. And the food gives me more energy. (Full disclosure: I’m very active when traveling, so the 20,000+ steps per day I take likely has something to do with this as well.)
Lastly. The meat, especially ham and bacon at breakfast, tastes incredible in comparison to what you will find most places in the U.S.
7. Limitless Options and Variety
Lot’s of men have a type of woman they prefer. For some it’s Asian women. Others are drawn to Slavic women. And some fall head-over-heals in love with the passion and beauty that Hispanic and Latin women are known for.
Many men (including me) even find themselves attracted to all of the above.
And that’s perfectly fine!
Western society loves to impose double-standards on men. For women, it’s fine to have a ‘type’ and impose an impossible set of standards on the men they date. For men: you’re considered a misogynist for not thinking that all women are beautiful regardless of their size or appearance.
This is completely absurd.
You only have one life to live. Which means you should pursue whatever type of women you prefer.
And that’s the beauty of going abroad: limitless options and variety.
8. Your Business Results will Improve
Taking vacations is great, but vacations are temporary.
If you don’t already have an online business, traveling will likely propel you to start one.
Why? Because travel is addictive and your trip will likely be far shorter than you would like. This commonly leads ambitious men to start looking for ways to create a better lifestyle.
And most men who are honest with themselves will acknowledge they are not happy with their current situation. Happiness is freedom. The freedom to go where you want, when you want, for however long you want.
Once you get a taste of international travel, the though of spending your days under fluorescent office lighting should become unbearable.
This feeling is a good thing, and should be harnessed so that you can level-up in life.

9. Getting Out of Your Bubble is Good
Yes this item sounds kind of weak. At first. But traveling the world and seeing how other cultures live is an eye-opening experience for most.
For one thing, you get the benefit of seeing that many parts of the world aren’t tainted with political-correctness.
Another positive is that you will actually start to think more creatively. In fact, every time I travel the creative juices start flowing in abundance. Many other people experience this as well. So travel can be great for your mental health and business creativity.
Also, despite the many problems with Western culture, you will realize how fortunate you are. You will see firsthand how much of the world lives without many of the conveniences that you and I take for granted.
Remember: the only reason you are able to benefit from geographic arbitrage is because your home currency and higher earnings make the math work in your favor.
10. Family is Still Important and Valued
One universal similarity that I have seen during my world travels relates to the importance of family.
The nuclear-family and close family connections are being fractured in the West, but this is not the case in most countries.
There are several reasons for this.
For starters, it is much more common for multiple generations to live together. And for longer periods of time. Yes, some of this has to do with resources. But it doesn’t change the fact that when family members rely on one-another, they tend to be closer.
(In some countries it is not uncommon for adults to continue living with their parents until they get married. So living with family until someone is ready to start their own family is not looked down as it is in the West.)
Another reason family connections tend to be stronger is that many cultures (particularly in Eastern Europe and Asia) emphasize a respect for one’s elders. The duty to take care of family is often instilled from an early age.
Lastly, many foreign women still want to have children and a family. They have not been brainwashed to think that a career or a dog is an acceptable substitute for motherhood.
When you combine all of this together, it becomes evident why family bonds are stronger in other parts of the world.
